First time wearing Couple Tshirt

" @ my Mom&Dad in Law's House "

I got honey this vietnamese flag Tshirt as gift from Hanoi.
and Honey is happily wearing it @once.
However I believe it isn't his fav , as since then he never asked to wear it again haha..

The day we visited his mom, She was quite surprised seeing us wearing couple Tshirts like teenagers and she asked "What's with these Tshirt?" I guess cuz she didn't know I went to Hanoi.
This photo was taken by my 5 year-old niece , I believe she could have done better job, just that she wasn't so familiar with camera before .
Feel like I have to take teach her to take good photo, so I can have more photo with Honey Luy.

The Cambodian Pchum Ben Festival: Feeding the Ancestors (Khmer Pchum Ben Festival)

The fifteenth day, of the tenth month, of the Khmer calendar marks the Pchum Ben festival. This is a time when the spirits of the dead ancestors walk the Earth. And the living can ease their suffering by offering them food to eat.

At four in the morning, nearly all of the residents of Phnom Penh gather at the temple with offerings of rice, which they toss on the ground, feeding the dead ancestors.

“ Some of the ghosts have small mouths,” one man explains. “ So we have to use special rice.”

Many of the people throw sticky rice, which, apparently is easier for the spirits to consume.

According to Buddhist beliefs, the lives that we live, after death, are predicated by the actions that we took when we were living. Minor infractions would be punished with small punishments, such as being an unattractive ghost or having a small mouth. With a small mouth, it is hard to eat. Other, more severe, punishments could include being crippled or having no mouth at all.

At 8:00 AM, people return to the temple, with offerings for the monks. “ They don’t just give food,”

At 8:00 AM, people return to the temple, with offerings for the monks. “ They don’t just give food,” explains Mey Sameth, who was a monk for seven years. “ They bring money and other things as well. As a monk we looked forward to this period all year long, because we could get new clothing and good food.”

At 10:00 the people return with more food, which will be shared between monks and poor people. Os many of the Buddhist traditions seem to relate to feeding the poor. Disabled people also crowd around the temple tat is hour, begging alms. To give help to the less-fortunate, particularly during Pchum Ben, is to acquire merit. Many people explained that the offerings they made during the festival were to cancel out past sins.

One day trip in Wonderland , Siem Reap Angkor

I've been to this wonderland again with family ( my beloved MOM , cute Uncle, Mysterious Brother, and my lovely Husband) .
This is our second time and also in the season of Pchum Ben (from 6th to 9th) .
Uncle visited us for 3 weeks and he wanted to go to Cultural Village so much.

Infront of Bayon Temple.
It surprised me , he also name Sombo <-- that elephant .

The interesting parts during this trip are :

- We could have good condition hotel for 15$ , and also we could see beautiful sunrise from the window with the romantic balcony.

- We went to the restaurant that I and my colleagues usually to go during our field work in Siem Reap , which made me feel no different from going for work .. not sth I want but i had no choice since we didn't no where else to go.

I acted like seller here.

- We bought many good stuffs in night market (10 tshirts , 2 wooden bowls , artistic wallets... )

We love painting and we want to buy some, but we have no place to hang or put them, our walls are full.

- We unexpectedly watched the performance about "Bret" special performance at Cultural Village for Pchum Ben time . The performance is new and really funny. What even more interesting at this part is that we were sitting near some girls who tended to scared and screamed aloud even with a minor intentional act of ghost disguise, which made me laughed badly. Actually if i was also scared at this frightening and jump on my Honey , m sure I could have more fun. But i don like to act.. ha

- We went to Bra Sart Beung Mealea (almost totally ruined) , a very beautiful old and ruined Temple. We had beautiful lunch there , our dishes were deer :) and cost us only 60000riel = 15$

-Honey and I had very interesting memory together at Bra Sart Beung Mealea.
We started to experience a bit adventure in exploring another way out to the front gate. We thought if we passing this wall , could reach the front gate but it's not like this at all. So we climbed on the temple's fell-off walls and rocks .. We almost got lost and and I was so pale as I scared that we might meet the thief or bad people or snake cuz our surrounding was like no one and no wind . we kept walking and searching for awhile until we found a couple were exchanging their love dialogues at the corner up top of the wall . Through their guide we found the way out and we went back to our original spot.
Thanks my Buddha, cuz my feet were almost sprained as I jumped hard from one rock to anther. However I wasn't like damn scared cuz I was with my wonderful honey and he kept mocking at how I looked so healthy and strong , yet easily scared (Fatty Pale) Lolz

DIY Sweet Home!

Honey had official working mission to Korea and he back home bought me a pack wood maybe it call DIY sweet home as Gift (haha)

When I saw it .. I felt like “Ow!”

He knew I’m so lazy to do this kind of stuff.. (I guess he tested my commitment again ...ahhh!!)

Bcuz I always tease him on how he and his brother spent 2 weeks on arranging 3000pieces of Pitsaw haha..

Ever then, He kept complaining that I didn’t value his love as he sincerelly tried so hard to seek for the meaningful gift for me , yet I didn’t bother to arrange it at all

and he acted like he was so hopeless in Me And his face was like ":("

Actually.. He doesn’t know me clearly yet, I just acted like I ignored it as I want him to feel little sad first hehehe..

....One day after cleaning up my room, I arranged all pieces together and made it into Sweet Home… I was doing it with smile as I unexpected my honey to be happy and surprised to see it ..

As I kept arranging it on and on.. I was so getting into it.. kinda don’t want it to end…

Ta.. Ti.. Ta… finally I got it done… I was super haaaaaaaapy… I feel like I got a Real big home.. look so beautiful and cute..

Now I am feeling so touchy and able to learn my honey 's initial feeling when he got me this gift.

Honey come in.. And he was kinda shouted “Honey ….!! You are …Lovely ” hehe..^^ (I am !!)

This little house is so pretty.. However it a bit fragile (But my feeling for honey isn’t)

Honey said now he couldn’t afford me big house.. But one day he promises to build me a house like this one ^^ maybe build in our farm in the countryside.

Let's wait and see !! ..

Our favorite Family Dinner

If you reside in Phnom Penh , you surely know this place.
This is Le Seoul , one of the most famous Korean Restaurant.
It started 2 years ago when we ,my family, like to have family dinning there.
Who loves it the most is my Mom. Her favorite dish is the Korean BBQ beef.
Whenever I want to please my mom , I take her there.
Sometimes just eating the side dishes , we can feel full already.
However my friend , Kalyan said, if we go there and don't eat Korean BBQ beef, It is like we don't go at all.
This first time I was there is during my dating with my Hubby.
That time I was so touched by my honey's sweet word that I even cried while eating.
It was unforgettable moment.^^
However my honey doesn't like like this place, he said it same old same old foods.

I think wherever we eat are all the same , the most important thing is who with
Who we share our special moment...

This is me and one of my favorite book titled แž€ំแžšแž„แž”្แžšแž™ោแž‚แž˜ាแžŸ
That time I was so stressful form works, because I have to write a Radio Feature for my show and I didn't know how to start.
However after this dinner, I back to my self again.. happy and lively.
And this book teaches me a lot about explanatory writing.

1st Year Wedding Anniversary

This photo taken during special dinner on our 1st year wedding anniversary .
Luy looked confused and ... hehe

I got Luy this .. (don no what it called in English , sth like music box).. for his birthday since we still dating
After marriage ,He moved to live with me , It has also become my lovely property...hehehe..
Whenever I was tired and stressful from work, I listened to its music..Sweet and Beautiful..
and those two statues kept going round and round..
until It made me smile
cuz It reminds me of the time I just met Luy.
" My husband ".
because ....
" We know the date of day we met but we may not know when love happens. "
